Asaduddin Owaisi On Waqf Amendment Bill 2024:
In a very harsh attack over the Waqf Amendment Bill 2024, Asaduddin Owaisi, an MP from Hyderabad and President of AIMIM, called out the BJP.
Someone from the BJP told him on Monday that those who say they are working to protect Waqf property are all liars.
Owaisi told them, “You are not happy with the Babri Masjid, playing Holi with our blood on the streets of Delhi, running over our children, tearing down our homes with bulldozers, or taking the hijab off our girls’ heads.”
With this Waqf Amendment Bill 2024, you now want to erase our existence. We won’t let our presence be erased.
‘Allah is the owner of the Waqf’
The MP from Hyderabad said, “Allah owns Waqf and always will.” Being able to pray through Waqf is something that the BJP wants to take away from us.
In the law of delimitation, someone uses someone else’s land for 12 years and then owns it. However, in the law of Waqf, this is not the case.
His words were aimed at the BJP and RSS. He said, “If the BJP, RSS, and Shiv Sena say that this mosque and dargah is not a Waqf, then the collector will look into it, and it will not be a Waqf until the investigation is over.”

“The law of Baba Baidyanath Dham of Jharkhand says that any Hindu can be made a member of the committee under the Baba Baidyanath Dham-Baasukinath Dham Tirtha Kshetra Vikas Pradhikaran Act 2015.”

Owaisi told Ajit Pawar, the leader of the NCP, to speak out against the law. “If secularism is alive in you, then you should openly oppose the Waqf Amendment Bill 2024 and tell Modi that this law is wrong,” she said.
