Missouri teens are killed in Oklahoma crash

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol released the names of one of the three teens who died last week in a single-car accident in rural Ottawa County.

Brent Taylor, 18, of Duenweg, Missouri, died on October 17. This was confirmed by the police on Wednesday. The crash happened around 4 a.m. on E 100 Road and S 640 Road, which is about four miles east of Miami, according to the police.

Two other teens and a 16-year-old died in the crash. The guard wouldn’t say the names of the people who died because of their ages.

Social media sites show that Chance Milton’s family set up a GoFundMe page for the 17-year-old from Joplin. Milton “was killed in a tragic car accident early Thursday morning,” the site says. Milton “was a passenger in the back seat of a car,” says a second GoFundMe page.

Police did find one adult survivor: Kaden Harrison, 18, of Joplin. They also found a 17-year-old who had survived the crash.

The report from the policeman says that three of the teens were thrown from a 2010 Pontiac Vibe. The patrol said that the OHP Traffic Homicide Unit is looking into the accident and the state of the driver.

The guard said that two teens were buckled up.

The Quapaw Nation EMS, the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, the Wyandotte Fire Department, the Miami Fire Department, and Integris EMS all helped at the scene of the accident.
