Drain on a dish that has been lined with tissue. One tablespoon of oil should be heated in a pan. Take curry leaves and green chili and cook them till they get crisp once the oil has reached the desired temperature.
Make sure to sauté the cashew nuts and raisins until they turn a golden brown color. Continue to cook for a few seconds after adding the turmeric powder and the red chilli powder.
After that, take the fried makka poha and peanuts and thoroughly combine them. Combine the chaat masala and salt to taste, and then combine thoroughly.
You can keep the mixture for up to ten days in an airtight jar after it has cooled down. Accompany with either coffee or tea.
Notes
Before beginning to fry the ingredients, make sure you have them close at hand. While the ingredients are being fried, continue to keep a close eye on them and fry them over medium-high heat. The flavor of the entire recipe will be ruined if they are allowed to burn, which typically happens in a matter of seconds.
A pleasant khatta meetha flavor can be achieved by incorporating a quarter of a teaspoon of powdered sugar into the mixture. Please take note that the cornflakes that are used to produce this chivda are not the same as the cereal that we have for breakfast.
If you want to make Chivda, you will need to go to your grocery shop and ask for corn flakes that are specifically used for food preparation. Some people also refer to these cornflakes as Makka Poha.
