Golden Slam winners: Tennis aces Steffi Graf, Serena Williams, Novak Djokovic headline list
Novak Djokovic, who won the Olympic gold medal tournament that was held in Paris in the year 2024, is the most recent person to be added to the list. He was the winner of the competition. - Pam Shriver of the USA was the first to achieve a Golden Slam in doubles tennis, but Steffi Graf was the first to do so in women’s singles. She took home the gold at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, the same year as Graf did.
- The only player to have accomplished a Golden Slam in both singles and doubles tennis is Serena Williams of the United States, a 23-time Grand Slam champion in women’s singles. In addition to her 23 Grand Slam victories in women’s singles, she has won two mixed doubles Grand Slams and 14 Grand Slams in doubles.
- In the women’s doubles category, Serena Williams and her sister Venus Williams have won three gold medals at the Olympics (Sydney 2000, Beijing 2008, and London 2012).
