India C is playing India B in the second round of the Duleep Trophy 2024. There were a lot of surprises in the match. First, Ishan Kishan’s sudden inclusion in the India C playing XI shocked everyone.
Then, their leader Ruturaj Gaikwad’s injury after only two balls was a huge blow for them. Gaikwad hit the first ball over the fence and looked like he was in great shape, but after the second ball, he twisted his ankle and had to go back to the bench.
Rajat Patidar came out and joined Sai Sudharsan in the middle as the captain of their team met a bad end. Abhimanyu Easwaran won the toss earlier and chose to bat first.
A score of 87 runs was made by India C after 22 overs. Rajat and Sai are both making good progress on the scoreboard. They want to get their team off to a great start and help them score a lot in the first innings.

Right now, there is no confirmation or report on how bad Gaikwad’s injury is, and it is also not known if Gaikwad will be able to field or bat later in the game. Their team got important six points against India D in the first round, and they’ll be hoping for the same result in this match.
Indian C vs. Indian B is being played at the Rural Development Trust Stadium B in Anantapur, and there is no DRS present. The DRS was available for both games in the last round, but it is now only available for the India A vs. India D match.
