Mom gives birth to 4th baby who shares same birthday with her 3 older sisters: A mom in South Carolina is still shocked that she had her fourth child last month. This child has the same birthday as her three older brothers.
Before Valentina, her fourth daughter, was born on August 25, Kristin Lammert was a mom to three girls: Sophia, 9, Giuiliana, 6, and Mia, 3. All of them were born on August 25. The girls were all born three years apart.
“We really couldn’t believe it, and we still can’t.” Lammert told “Good Morning America,” “I keep writing it down, and I still can’t believe it.” Lammert said Valentina was supposed to be born on September 25, but she came early because of a problem with her pregnancy.
She said that she and her husband, Nick Lammert, “started laughing” when they found out that Valentina was going to be born a month early and on the same date as her other brothers.
“Because at that moment, we were really mostly concerned about the health of the baby and myself, and I wouldn’t say we didn’t realize the date, but the bigger focus was about making sure she was okay and that it wasn’t putting enough stress on the baby, and that I would be okay,” she said. ”
And then when it kept getting closer to midnight, we then thought it was funny.” Even though Valentina was born before her due date, Lammert told “GMA” that she was healthy and didn’t even need to go to the neonatal urgent care unit.
She said, “Because having a preemie baby is scary and risky, and we don’t really want that to happen.” Valentina “came out very, very strong.” “She was very small but strong…””In the end, it turned out to be the best thing that could have happened,” Lammert said. “It’s really cool to my girls. I am still speechless with shock.
Lammert said that her pregnancy with Valentina was healthy from the time she found out she was pregnant until near the end, when she started to show signs of problems with the pregnancy. She said, “So I was going back and forth to the doctor’s office.”
“They did some tests to find out if she had preeclampsia, which is the early stages of the disease.” That’s why I was told to stay in bed and look out for any signs…It became very hard to see on August 23rd, and that’s when I was told to go to the hospital.
The National Institutes of Health say that preeclampsia is a problem that can happen during pregnancy. It is marked by high blood pressure and signs of damage to another organ system. “Women with preeclampsia are at increased risk for organ damage/failure, preterm birth, pregnancy loss, and stroke,” NIH says on its site.
Laumert told the nurse at the hospital that she and her husband thought Valentina would come on August 23 or 24. “After that, it became a medical emergency,” she said. “And then, when midnight on the 25th came around, we knew she would be there. We just couldn’t believe she was coming.” So soon. Were not ready at all.”
Laumert said that her healing has been harder this time because of the problem she had during her pregnancy. “So I’ve been required to take it easy, and I don’t normally have high blood pressure, so this is my first time experiencing that,” she explained.
“I have my doctor’s appointment tomorrow for a two week appointment for myself, but everything is seeming to go back to normal for myself already.” Lammert said, “They are completely in love with her.” He also talked about how their three older children welcomed their new baby.
“They are fighting with each other on who gets to hold her next,” she stated. “‘I want to feed her,’ ‘I want to burp her after you’re done feeding her,’ ‘I want to hold her, it’s my turn,’ or something like that.” That’s all I can hear.”
Lammert told other moms, “Listen to your body’s intuition and speak up for yourself,” as she talked about her pregnancy path. “Because towards the end there, I felt like something was wrong, and it turns out that there was something wrong that could easily be dismissed for other things,” she shared.
It was also taught to Lammert that “nothing is actually in your control.” She said, “But everything is a blessing.” “At the same time, everything that’s meant to happen will happen as it’s meant to be.”
