How to play NYT Strands
Look for things that have something to do with today’s theme. See one? Put the letters in the right order by dragging or clicking on them. To send in your guess, click on the last letter twice. It will stay blue if you find a theme word.
You’ll get a prize from the game when it shows you a theme word. If you still can’t figure it out, find three more tip words. The game will then show you the letters of the theme word in the right order. Find three clue words. Each one must have at least four letters.
Find the spangram, which is a special theme word that goes through the whole problem. It could go from left to right or from top to bottom. It sums up the idea of the puzzle. Every letter on the board will have been used in either a theme word or a spangram by the end.

The point of the puzzle is to find secret words that go with the theme. Find any words you can if you get stuck. Each time you find three words with four letters or more. These answers have something to do with the theme. The spangram is a theme word that goes from one side of the puzzle to the other. The goal of the puzzle is to find them all. Every letter on the board will be used once you have all of them. At first, I thought there were always eight, but I found out that the number can change.
